On the 27th of June, I had the chance to shoot something completely new to me—Geoff and Kersty’s Viking and Pagan-themed wedding.
The day kicked off at Coventry Registry Office, and it didn’t take long for the surrounding streets to fill up with guests in full kit. Seeing furs, leather armour, braided hair, and drinking horns out in the middle of Coventry city centre was brilliant to witness and made for some fantastic photos before the ceremony had even started.
Inside, the ceremony was relaxed, personal, and full of character. Geoff and Kersty did things entirely their own way, surrounded by close family and friends who had thrown themselves into the theme.
Afterwards, everyone headed over to Ashby Road Sports Club in Hinckley for the reception. The atmosphere stayed high all evening with plenty of laughs, great food, and drinks raised to the couple.
